Kirkham 427 S/C Cobra Replica in aluminum

Early Kirkham, chassis number KMP094. An all aluminum car done to S/C specs including tubular chassis construction with coil spring suspension all around, proper side oiler 427 FE engine with remote oil cooler, big spline toploader 4 speed and Salisbury style differential.

This is a professionally built example with only 1200 miles since completion. Built in California in about 2000, reportedly by a name Cobra shop but I have not yet verified this. Properly titled and fitted with all equipment necessary for registration for road use.

Exceptional attention to detail and excellent quality throughout. I have shown this car to some friends who are owners of original CSX3000 series Cobras and they have been quite impressed by how closely many of the details in this build match the originals. Some improvements have been made in the name of an enhanced driving experience and reliability, such as the oversized aluminum radiator, which keeps the big block cool.

Some features include proper AC style 16 inch wood steering wheel, English electrics, gauges and other systems, electrical master switch, cockpit mounted batteries, OEM Ford shifter, Halibrand style wheels with knockoffs, Goodyear Eagle tires, rear braced roll bar, side pipes, quick jack pads, recessed roller style quick fill gas cap and dual electric fuel pumps.

The fit, finish and paint quality are outstanding and condition is flawless throughout with no signs of road rash or abuse. I have driven it and it is fully roadworthy, delivering the rocket sled style performance one would expect.

This is an opportunity to get as close as possible to the experience of a million dollar plus original without enduring the wait and frequent frustration of the build process, and is competitively priced with the true overall cost of professionally constructing a high quality aluminum component car today.
