'67 GT500

1967 GT500 VIN 67400F0A02469

Factory Acacpulco Blue, black interior, four speed, Mag Star GT500 sold new at Tasca Ford in Providence, Rhode Island. A very complete but disassembled project car that was acquired at mid restoration when the owner decided to discontinue the project.

A full inventory is presently being made of all parts that are included. I expect the complete list to be available about June 12th, after I finish doing the Ford Carlisle show. A working list is available upon request.

A Marti report and SAAC paperwork have been ordered and will be posted as soon as they are received. This GT500 has its original VIN plate and all factory stamped numbers, both Shelby and Ford. Listed in the SAAC registry with some history.

The body is very solid with original floors and quarter panels. All metal work is completed and it is in epoxy primer. It has been blocked and is in final prep for paint. All fiberglass is original, no reproduction items. Most of the fiberglass is fitted to the car. A professional shop experienced in restoration quality work performed all of the bodywork.

All removed parts have been properly managed and small items are “bagged and tagged” for identification. Many new parts are also included. Most of the Shelby unique items are original to and removed from this GT500. Several subassemblies have already been rebuilt or restored, including the engine, transmission, rear axle assembly and original BJ/BK carbs.

This restoration started with a sound, solid, complete car, not some derelict shell with a pile of cheap repro parts thrown at it! If you want something like that, go surf an online auction.

Offered complete with all parts at $95,000. Shelby or interesting Mustang part trades considered.
