2008 Shelby GT CONVERTIBLE 08SGT1508
One of 2171 Shelby GT's produced in 2008. The popularity of the Hertz Rent A Car exclusive Shelby GT-H convertible in 2007 contributed to the creation of this one year only convertible model of the Shelby GT. Of the 2171 produced, 795 convertibles were built, of which 197 were automatics and 598 were five speed manual. #1508 is one of those manual trans cars.
Sold new at Keller Brothers Ford in Lititz, Pa. The first and only owner was Henry Tancke, a retired driver for Ford Motor Company. After about 12,000 incident free miles, he had run his course with the car and has decided to let it go into someone else's ownership.
Finished in Vista Blue, as were all of the Shelby GT convertibles built in 2008. Silver stripes, black top and dark charcoal leather interior. The factory window invoice is intact and relates that in addition to many standard features such as the Shaker 500 audio system with AM/FM. 6 CD player and MP3, #1508 was optioned with cloth convertible roof with boot, anti theft system, SIRIUS satellite radio and HID headlamps.
#1508 has a clean CARFAX history, and the usual ownership materials provided to the first buyer.
